Smart-Bin

The Smart-Bins: Part number: CBS-900 is a member of the Multi-Torq family of accessories designed to interface with the Kolver EDU1AE controller and PLUTO series of DC electric screwdrivers.

The system automatically selects torque programs from the Screwdriver Controller based on bin picks

The Smart-Bins plug and play with the EDU1AE PLC/CC controller when it is connected to the Smart-Control Box, enabling the device to change between eight torque settings when a screw is picked.

The torque settings on the EDU1AE PLC/CC must be calibrated with a torque testing device. The first torque setting is indicated on the controllers digital display and can be changed by the buttons on the front of the unit. The torque setting is indicated as a percentage of total available torque on the digital display.

• The Smart-Bins can interface with any intelligent screwdriver that stores multiple torque programs. To do so the correct interface cable is required. Please let us know if you would like a quotation for a specific interface cable. Sequence Control option may be added for an additional level of error proofing. Sequence steps such as torques and bin picks can be programmed and verified during assembly.
• Up to 12 Smart-Bins may be added to the Smart-Control Box.
