The EDU1AE/C/DT offers the same features and functionality as the EDU1AE controller with the addition of the added capability of switching between two torque settings

To switch between one torque setting and the other a switch must be connected to the controller via the six pin connector on the back of the unit. When the contacts are open the unit looks for the torque setting displayed on the LCD (same as EDU1AE). When the contacts are closed the LCD display will change to indicate that the torque value displayed is related to the second torque setting. To simplify the setup of the unit for dual torque operation we have developed the Dual-Torque model DT1 switch.

To adjust the second torque setting the trim pot on the back of the controller must be adjusted. The torque value on the front of the LCD will change as the trim pot is adjusted.
