Setup of the Ultra TT is simple. The quick, straightforward programming of the Palm^TM handheld eliminates the need for a teach pendant. Supported by intuitive GUI (graphic user interface) software, the system setup wizards walk the operator through start-up parameters.

The Ultra TT is a closed-loop servo system, capable of positioning repeatability within +/-25 microns. Position and velocity feedback from the encoder ensures smooth, accurate operation through a wide range of motions and payloads - preventing variation often found in open-loop systems. The closed-loop system also provides validation of the screwdriver bit location, ensuring precision and accuracy. Coordinated axes movement of the Ultra TT system is more efficient than conventional XYZ systems.
