The EDU2AE Precision DC-Electric Torque Control Unit:

This system allows parameters to be set up to control the torque, RPM profile, direction and, time for any Current Control PLUTO screwdriver: PLUTO 3, PLUTO 6, PLUTO 10, PLUTO 15, PLUTO 20 and PLUTO 35. PLUTO tools are avaible in In-line, Pistol, Right Angle,a nd Fixture mount configurations. It is also possible to to use the following clutch model screwdriver: PLUTO 3FR, PLUTO 5FR and PLUTO 7FR. The system is set up through a LCD display on the front of the unit. Changes to the parameters are performed by scrolling through the settings using four buttons.

The EDU2AE and EDU2AE/HP deliver all the advantages of a presision torque control electric screwdriver at a fraction of the price of a transducer tool. The electronic control circuit cuts the power suply to the motor calculating the correct torque in repsonse to 3 parameters: voltage, fequency and currect, accoring to the user selectable parameters below.

User definable parameters:

2. Torque level adjustment: 0,2 to 35,0 Nm (tool dependent)
3. Joint type (HARD or SOFT) selects RPM profile
4. Break Time: down shift speed from pre-torque to final toque when in the Hard Joint RPM profile
5. Ramp Time: select from 0.2 to 3.0 Seconds
6. Speed: tool dependent
7. Minimum Time: select from 0.1s to MAX - 0.1s. Torque reached before this time won activate torque output signal.
8. Maximum Time: select from MIN + 0.1 s to 20 sec. If torque is not reach before the MAX tiem the screwdriver will stop and an error message will be displayed.
