Raptor: Jaw and Housings

Raptor: Jaw and Housings

Raptor jaw sets feature a pair of hardened tool steel movable jaws, pivoting in an aluminum housing. This combination forms a jaw and housing assembly that screws onto any of our three Power Cylinders shown on the previous page.

Power is generated by jaw "rollers" gliding on the piston cam as is moves forward from the cylinder, closing the jaw set.  The larger the power cylinder, the more power is generated.

  • Jaws may be easily reversed in their housings, permitting left or right-hand operation.
  • Jaws may be resharpened, depending on their wear.
  • Replacement jaw sets may be ordered separate from aluminum housings; contact Kolver or your local Representative.
  • Specialty jaw sets may be engineered upon request; contact Kolver or your local Representative
