70 Nm Smart Arm
The Smart-Arm system error-proofs your assembly process by enabling the screwdriver to operate only when it is at the correct location, sequence step (optional), and that the appropriate torque program is used at each location. The Smart-Arm is built using bearing guides at the two post pivot points. The bearings allow for very tight assembly tolerances, this enables programs to be shared across multiple arms using the optional upload/download software tool. Additional assembly process control can be gained by implementing the optional Pick-to-light sensors "Smart-Bins" and/or a bit tray "Smart-Bits. A visual aid for the operator is also available by implementing the optional Guided Assembly software which positions a moving cross hair, that represents the centroid of the tool, over a .jpg of the part with a visual target that turns green when the tool is correctly positioned.
