SmartMotion: Overhead mounted rail arms
Rail mounted arms provide mobility, accessibility, and a solution to working in parallel with moving production lines.
The overhead rails can be provided in many custom configurations and lengths to suit the application requirements. Rails can be suspended from the ceiling or mounted to pillars. This provides an opportunity to free up value floor space and also provides coverage for a larger working area.
The arm rail is available in several sizes, with a wide range of tool holder options. Pneumatically controlled arms and rails can be equipped with a locking unit and a double press.
Options:
- • Multiple rail arms components on a single rail.
- • Available for bridge/runway gantry installations to provide both X and Y coverage.

This system allows parameters to be set up to control the torque and RPM profile for one program. The system is set up through a LCD display on the front of the unit. Changes to the parameters are preformed by scrolling through the settings using four buttons.
