PLUTO Screwdriver Test Data

Overview

The test data below was provided to us by a KolverUSA customer, who manufactures automotive and personal recreation vehicles.

Methodology

A UFT S-10 joint simulator was set to a "B" hardness with a 6 mm bolt to simulate a typical joint. The bolt was set to torque on the simulator using the Kolver PLUTO 10P. The final torque was recorded dynamically using a 20 Nm Crane inline transducer. All torques are recorded in Nm.

The repeatability data is presented as 3 sigma divided by mean, which allows tool comparison regardless of process specification or gun size.
